Colour: Medium garnet
Aroma: After two hours of breathing, PN4 begins to hint at the plethora of characters hidden within. The fruit profile offering wild strawberries, blackberry and dark plum, then evolving more savoury cacao, roasted parsnip and nettles. Further still, the integrated new oak subtly adds notes of soft spice and cedar to the bouquet.
Palate: The palate is as one would expect from PN4 – elegant and defined. The matured, intense red and dark fruit characters are contrasted beautifully by tight dusty tannins, stalk spice and notes of roasted coffee lingering in the mouth. Persistent acidity underscores the intense fruit and harmonises the wine for a seemingly endless finish. Moreish in every mouthful.
